Peterborough Community Calendar Banner Contest

Contest Rules
 
 
Entry Deadline
 
All entries must be submitted by 4:30pm on Monday December 21, 2009 to be considered.
 
 
Eligibility
 
You must be a resident of the City or County of Peterborough to enter. There are no age restrictions, but entrants under the age of 18 require permission from a parent or guardian.
 
 
Requirements
Ø      All entries must be original artwork created by the entrant.
Ø      Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
Ø      The file must be in either .jpg or .gif format.
Ø      The banner image dimensions are 994 pixels horizontally by 128 pixels vertically. Contestants may submit a larger image with the same height/width ratio as long as the file size does not exceed 4MB. An example 994 pixel by 128 pixel graphic is available here (download it).
Ø      Design may be multi-coloured or black and white.
Ø      The design should relate to what the artist feels is unique or special about Peterborough.
Ø      Contestants may submit only one entry.
Ø      By entering the Banner Contest, you are giving consent to the Peterborough Public Library to display your artwork on the banner of Peterborough’s Community Calendar if your entry is chosen as the winner.
Ø      By entering the Banner Contest, you grant the Peterborough Public Library a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to the artwork or photographic images at its sole discretion.
Please complete the following form, and attach your banner design. Click submit when finished. The winner will be determined by the Arts, Culture & Heritage Advisory Committee, and announced on Monday February 15, 2010.
