March 29th 2010 : Drop Spindle Workshop
You can make your own yarn! Using thousand year old technology, your hands and soft carded sheep’s wool. You will learn the basics of drop spindle spinning, and with a bit of patience, you will learn to make lovely yarn.
Kristyn Woodfine is a full time fibre addict who loves to create. She makes and markets her line of handdyed, handspun yarns under the moniker Pleasurecraft Fibre Studio, and thinks that everyone in the world should try making their own yarn at least once.
