Teddy Bears

Young and old enjoy making their very own teddy bear. From cutting to sewing to drawing and decorating all of your skills will be put to work with this fun and exciting craft. Cost for the workshop is $15 per child. Pre-registration is required. Children bring their own snacks. This workshop is most suitable for children 6 years of age or older.
Needlepoint and Weaving

Cost: $15 per child
This fun filled hands-on workshop will be conducted by the Embroiderer’s Guild of Peterborough. Members of the Guild will teach youngsters some basic needlepoint techniques using plastic crafters’ canvas. The children will construct a small pouch for folding scissors (scissors included) and a woven bookmark. Cost for the workshop is $15 per child. Pre-registration is required. Children bring their own snacks. This workshop is most suitable for children 6 years of age or older.
Dream Catchers

Cost: $15 per child
Native Americans began the tradition of dream catchers. The dream catcher hangs at the head of the bed and while a child is sleeping the catcher will catch any bad dreams and allow the good dreams to pass through the holes in the catcher. The children will be making their own unique dream catchers to hang over their beds to catch their bad dreams just as the First Nations did. Cost for the workshop is $15 per child. Pre-registration is required. Children bring their own snacks. This workshop is most suitable for children 6 years of age or older.
Kaleidoscopes

Kaleidoscopes were being mass manufactured by 1874, this day we will be learning about the different types and creating our own kaleidoscopes. Cost for the workshop is $15 per child. Make your own Book!
